Rehabilitation internship
Not accepting
Rehabilitation interns work in the sports medicine clinic directly with the athletic trainer. Patients in rehabilitation appointments have some severity of a musculoskeletal deficit, concussion, persistent post-concussive syndrome (PPCS) or traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Programs focus on improving muscular endurance and strength, mobility, neuromuscular control, and vestibular, visual and cervical deficits, depending on the patient's condition.
The goal is an immersive experience in the rehabilitation setting. The position starts as observational, with the intention to transition into hands-on assistance with patient care.
Time commitment: about 4–12 hours per week.
We are not accepting applications for the rehabilitation internship at this time.
